Superyacht Savannah Stars in Netflix’s The Woman in Cabin 10
Keira Knightley’s latest Netflix thriller, The Woman in Cabin 10, brings high-end luxury and suspense together aboard one of the world’s most admired superyachts — the 83.5-meter Savannah. Built by Feadship and delivered in 2015, this $150 million masterpiece provided the perfect setting for the film’s moody, ocean-bound mystery.
Directed by Simon Stone and based on Ruth Ware’s bestselling novel, the movie follows Knightley as a journalist investigating a disappearance during a lavish yacht cruise. The production took full advantage of Savannah’s sleek metallic lines, mirrored interiors, and underwater lounge to enhance the film’s tense, atmospheric feel.
Designed by CG Design, Savannah accommodates 12 guests in six suites and carries 26 crew. Her hybrid propulsion system allows her to cruise efficiently at 14 knots with a 6,500-nautical-mile range. Among her standout features are a spa, gym, beauty salon, deck jacuzzi, and a glass-walled underwater observation area — where several key scenes were filmed.
Savannah’s innovative design has earned her multiple accolades, including Motor Yacht of the Year and several awards for both interior and exterior design. She remains one of Feadship’s proudest creations - a seamless blend of engineering brilliance and art.
