Mengi Yay’s Largest Yacht, The Gray Wolf, Has Been Launched
Turkish shipyard Mengi-Yay has launched its largest yacht to date, the 52.6-metre Gray Wolf. The yacht is currently in the final stages of construction and is scheduled for delivery in 2026.
Part of the Virtus XP series, Gray Wolf is one of three yachts in the line and represents the latest evolution of Mengi-Yay’s growing superyacht portfolio. The vessel features exterior and interior design by VYD Studio, while naval architecture has been developed by Van Oossanen Naval Architects.
Powered by twin Caterpillar diesel engines, the yacht reaches a top speed of 16 knots and offers a transoceanic range of approximately 4,100 nautical miles at cruising speed. Onboard, Gray Wolf accommodates up to 10 guests across five staterooms, supported by a crew of nine. With a gross tonnage of 499 GT and a beam of 9.48 metres, she features a steel hull, aluminium superstructure, and teak decking.
Upon delivery, Gray Wolf will enter a competitive global fleet of more than 200 motor yachts in the 50–55 metre segment. She will sail under the Cayman Islands flag, one of the most widely used registries in the superyacht industry.
