Remarks :
DESCRIPTION
Steady is a privately owned 2010 Hanse 400 that has remained with the same owner from new and has never been chartered or raced. EU VAT paid and currently lying in Preveza, Greece, she combines an easily managed sailing set-up with a practical three-cabin layout well suited to family cruising and longer periods aboard.
She has been equipped for independent cruising, with a retractable bow thruster, 60 litre/hour watermaker, electric self-tailing coachroof winch, Simrad navigation equipment, 300Ah domestic battery bank and three-blade folding propeller.
Of particular note is the mechanical work carried out in 2023. The 40hp Yanmar diesel engine was refurbished, including replacement of the block and cylinder, with saildrive and three-blade folding propeller work also recorded that year. The engine belts were changed in 2025, when new AGM engine and domestic batteries were also fitted.
With her one-owner history, EU VAT paid status, useful cruising equipment and comfortable three-cabin arrangement, Steady offers an appealing package for buyers looking for a well-equipped yacht for Mediterranean cruising.

BROKER’S REMARKS
Steady is an appealing Hanse 400 with the considerable advantage of having remained with the same private owner from new. She has never been chartered or raced and has been equipped with comfortable, independent cruising in mind.
The three-cabin arrangement, with a forward double cabin and two separate aft cabins, provides useful space and privacy when cruising with family or friends. Her cockpit has a folding table and freshwater shower, while the watermaker, generous domestic battery capacity and comprehensive cruising inventory make spending longer periods away from marinas more practical.
There has also been worthwhile expenditure on the yacht in recent years. The Yanmar engine was refurbished in 2023, including replacement of the block and cylinder, while saildrive and propeller work was carried out in the same year. The anchor windlass dates from 2023, with the engine and domestic AGM batteries renewed in 2025.
For a buyer looking for a privately used, EU VAT paid Hanse 400 with a practical family layout and useful Mediterranean cruising inventory, Steady deserves consideration.
