Turkish Shipyard Ends Its Nordhavn Yachts Production Partnership After 55 Builds
Nordhavn Yachts will no longer build its yachts in Türkiye following the end of its partnership with Telgeren & Partners Shipyard in Tuzla.
The Turkish shipyard built 55 Nordhavn yachts between 2020 and 2026 at its 13,000-square-metre facility. According to General Manager Murat Telgeren, the partnership ended amicably due to unforeseen and steadily increasing production costs.
Nordhavn Yachts will continue production through its established shipyards in China and Taiwan.
Founded in 1988, Nordhavn is known for its long-range motor yachts designed for ocean crossings and extended cruising. The brand has built a strong reputation for seaworthiness, long-range capability and autonomous operation.
Telgeren & Partners said it will continue with new projects and provide support for all Nordhavn yachts built at the shipyard.
“We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Nordhavn Yachts for the trust, camaraderie and support they have shown us to date,” said Murat Telgeren.
