Tankoa Launches First T55 Sportiva Superyacht Rose Ahead of Monaco Debut

Tankoa Yachts has officially launched Rose, the first superyacht in its brand-new T55 Sportiva series, marking the shipyard’s entry into the luxury sport yacht category.

The 55-metre Rose was developed in partnership with Luca Dini Design & Architecture, combining Tankoa’s custom yacht-building expertise with a sleeker, sportier aesthetic. The exterior bears Luca Dini’s signature, while the interiors were created by Lissoni & Partners under the direction of celebrated designer Piero Lissoni, blending contemporary elegance with a serene, residential atmosphere.

A young entrepreneur with close ties to the yachting world owns Rose and was personally involved throughout the project. Their active role helped shape the yacht’s tailored features, ensuring every detail balances aesthetics and functionality to suit their lifestyle.

A standout element of Rose is her extensive glazing — full-height windows on both main and upper decks flood the interiors with natural light and deliver sweeping sea views. One of the yacht’s most distinctive spaces is the Nemo Room, a semi-submerged lounge offering an intimate connection with the water in a tranquil, immersive setting.

On deck, Rose boasts a spacious beach club centered around a striking swimming pool, generous sunbathing areas, and two jacuzzis — one reserved for the owner and another full-beam unit forward on the upper deck.

Tankoa CEO Vincenzo Poerio describes the T55 Sportiva series as a “sleeker, sportier interpretation of modern luxury,” and Rose is the perfect expression of that concept, delivering both performance and timeless design.

Launched on April 14 at Tankoa’s Genoa facility, Rose is now completing outfitting and sea trials, ahead of her global debut at the 2025 Monaco Yacht Show.
