Silent-Yachts launches first 62- 3-Deck solar electric catamaran


Italian shipyard Silent-Yachts has launched its first Silent 62- 3-Deck solar electric catamaran at its facility in Fano, Italy. It's an upgraded version of the popular Silent 60, with an extended hull and a third deck instead of a traditional flybridge.


Some highlights of the first Silent 62 3-Deck


  • -The first Silent 62 3-Deck features a spacious open deck, perfect for outdoor gatherings and dining.

-With 5+1 cabins and 6 bathrooms, it can comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests.

-The third deck comes in three options: open sky lounge, closed sky lounge, and sealed owner's suite, all with a front exit for easy access to the foredeck.

-Like its predecessors, the Silent 62 3-Deck prioritizes eco-friendly design with its ultra-efficient solar electric drivetrain.

-It boasts a solar array of 16.8 kWp, twin 180 kW E-motors, a 286 kWh Lithium-ion battery pack, and a 145 kW Peak range extender.

-She has a cruising speed of 6-8 knots and trans-oceanic range capabilities.
