Iconic Superyacht Designer Dickie Bannenberg Joins Superyacht Summit Türkiye
This year’s Superyacht Summit Türkiye, taking place on 11–12 November, welcomes another iconic superyacht designer: Dickie Bannenberg, the creative force behind Bannenberg & Rowell Design and one of the most influential figures in yacht design today.
Carrying a Legendary Name Forward
Son of Jon Bannenberg, the “godfather of modern yacht design,” Dickie has taken the family legacy into a new era. With projects ranging from elegant 55-metre yachts like Moon Sand and Moskito to bold 100-metre concepts, Bannenberg & Rowell are known for giving each yacht a unique personality and timeless style.
In one of his interviews with Boat International, he was asked: “What’s the craziest thing a client’s ever requested of you?” He replied: “We’re looking forward to placing a full-size Elton John waxwork at the Steinway on our 82-metre new build in Italy.”
