Heesen Yachts Unveils Santosha: The First in New 57-Metre Series
Heesen Yachts has introduced its latest masterpiece, Santosha, formerly known as Project Akira. This 57-metre superyacht, designed by Omega Architects with interiors by Harrison Eidsgaard, represents the pinnacle of luxury and performance.
With a top speed of 22 knots and a range of 3,900 nautical miles, Santosha is perfectly suited for exploring destinations like the Bahamas, thanks to its shallow 2.3-metre draft.
Santosha’s interior, inspired by the owners' vision of relaxed elegance, features sustainable materials like recycled wood and ‘art silk’ carpets. The yacht offers 780 GT of internal volume, including a 35-square-metre beach club and a nearly 70-square-metre owner’s apartment. The master bathroom, designed in collaboration with London-based DKT studio, features bespoke artwork and luxurious Calacatta Sponda marble.
Heesen’s advanced engineering is evident in Santosha’s full aluminium hull, developed with van Oossanen Naval Architects. Powered by two MTU 16V 4000 M65L engines, the yacht combines elegance with exceptional performance, setting a new standard in the world of luxury yachting.
