Damen launches the first Xplorer 60

Damen Yachting proudly announces the launch of the first Xplorer 60, SX6001—a 60-meter superyacht redefining luxury exploration. Built in Antalya, Turkey, with Dutch engineering and craftsmanship, it blends bold design, ultimate comfort, and complete autonomy.

Currently undergoing final outfitting and sea trials, it is designed for both polar expeditions and the world’s most prestigious yachting destinations.

Previously known as the SeaXplorer 60, the Xplorer 60 offers the perfect mix of adventure and indulgence. Standout features include a Crow’s Nest and an Observation Lounge with direct access to the Fore Deck, providing breathtaking views of Arctic or tropical landscapes. A dedicated Spa Area on the Bridge Deck Aft, a full-size whirlpool, and ample storage for a limo tender, crew tender, and jet skis add to its appeal.

Following the success of the Xplorer 58 Pink Shadow and the Xplorer 77 La Datcha, this model was developed in collaboration with Azure Yacht Design. It features hybrid propulsion, battery banks, an Ice Class hull, a fully certified helideck, and compliance with the IMO Polar Code, making it ideal for global exploration.

The interiors, crafted by H2 Yacht Design, feature three guest decks with six suites for 12 guests. This marks H2’s first Xplorer project, continuing its successful partnership with Damen Yachting on Amels yachts.
