Owner Offers His luxury Yacht Share for Just €1
A very surprising yacht news took place at Euro Weekly News: “I’ll sell my yacht share for just €1!” Stranded superyacht drama unfolds off Mallorca’s coast.
A German-owned luxury yacht, Acoa, has been stranded for over a month on a beach near Son Servera in Mallorca after being caught in Storm Harry in mid-January. The nearly 30-metre luxury yacht reportedly lost its anchor during the violent storm, drifting ashore. Skipper Klaus Fietzeck, 68, was thrown into the sea but survived with injuries and hypothermia.
Now grounded off Sa Marjal beach, the yacht poses environmental concerns due to fuel still onboard. With co-owners disputing responsibility for costly salvage operations, Fietzeck has publicly offered to sell his share for just €1, highlighting the growing frustration surrounding the stalled recovery.
Info about the yacht:
The 28-metre (91’10”) sailing yacht Acoa, formerly known as Licorne, was constructed by Dubbel & Jesse and delivered in 1985. Her interior was created by the British design studio Dubois, which also developed the yacht’s exterior styling. The yacht underwent its most recent refit in 2012.
