This is the reason why the value for second hand Nidelv boats stays higher than the average. Since late 2010 Nidelv boats are built in Jiangyin in China.

Roald Skibsrud established Skibsplast in 1957 at the age of only 19 years. He made his first fibreglass speedboat in his fathers wood workshop in Kristiansand.
A serious fire destroyed most of the factory and production tools in 1964. A new manufacturing facility was established in Verksmoen.
