Dufour 40 (velero) - en venta

A very well-sorted example of the Dufour 40 Performance, extensively upgraded between 2022 and 2026 for fast cruising, offshore sailing and occasional racing.

This yacht stands out for the scale and recency of the work carried out. Major structural, rigging, sail, electronics, electrical, plumbing, anchoring and deck systems have all been addressed, resulting in a highly developed and ready-to-use performance cruiser.

The keel box was rebuilt in 2022, standing rigging replaced in 2022 and the running rigging progressively renewed in Dyneema between 2022 and 2024. The sail wardrobe has also been substantially upgraded, with recent Technora and carbon-aramid sails, Code Zero, A2 asymmetric and a Unibow bowsprit.

Navigation and performance instrumentation are based around a modern B&G package including Zeus³S chartplotter, Triton² displays, Hercules sailing processor, NAC-3 autopilot, Precision-9 compass, AIS-equipped VHF and wireless handset.

For cruising, the yacht benefits from lithium domestic batteries, Victron charging and monitoring, solar generation and extensive updates to pumps, plumbing and electrical systems.

A 12,000 BTU 12V marine air-conditioning system was installed in August 2026, serving the forward cabin and saloon to improve comfort during summer evenings and overnight stays.

Fast, responsive and rewarding to sail, while remaining practical and comfortable for Mediterranean cruising, this is a particularly well-equipped Dufour 40 Performance with a very substantial recent refit history.
