Beneteau celebrates 140 years with 13 new 2024 models, emphasizing upmarket experiences, technology, and durability. Originating in 1884 in Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie, France, founder Benjamin Bénéteau's vision for speed and innovation laid the groundwork. It was all started with the production of fishing boats and growed with the purpose to be the fastest one to reach the port.
Annette Roux, the granddaughter, later redefined leisure boating with expertise and mass production.
Throughout the years, the Group has experienced remarkable expansion, propelled by the continuous contributions of esteemed brands such as BENETEAU, JEANNEAU, PRESTIGE, LAGOON, EXCESS, DELPHIA, FOUR WINNS and WELLCRAFT. Each of these brands has played a significant role in enhancing the overall portfolio of the Group. The group extends across 80 countries, offering 44 models in 6 ranges with 118,000 boats built.
The 140th anniversary brings innovations like the Oceanis 37.1 with electric propulsion and the Swift Trawler 54, blending tradition and innovation.
In 2024, Beneteau marks its milestone with the Great Loop Europe journey and Vendée Globe participation. This anniversary stands as a testament to enduring values, a rich history, and unwavering commitment to innovation.
