Other information
"Owners comment"; Underwater hull & Osmosis treatment 2019; unfortunately previously VC117 was banned in the Netherlands and from 2019 the yard refused the boat. Still to be launched if it had VC17 on it. We then decided to switch to another system. Doing this we came across a few small spots and then immediately decided to strip the entire underwater ship bare, let it dry and rebuild. We applied new Gelshield 200, filled where necessary with Poly pox 700 Interprotect primer and finally applied the Interspeed antifouling. All this from International. This work was performed by de Gier in Enkhuizen and cost around 11,000 euros in VAT.

Restoration project, started at the end of 2011 by Rob Frits Lelystad: Because one of the longitudinal bulkheads under the middle berths showed watering from the inside, we went looking for the cause, which turned out to be there are stainless steel tanks behind and the longitudinal bulkhead was on the inside only +/-13 cm laminated. Craquelé and partly due to condensation ingrained. When we started demolishing it soon became clear that there was more to it, including the main bulkhead on the underside, which was also soaked in. There was also water seeping under the keel beam. We then decided to renovate the entire inside where necessary, see pictures. New bulkheads, tightening where necessary, laminate through to the top of the bulkheads, keel beam and
some floors replaced. Keel reattached and laminated to hull. Wall wells laminated in (inside). WC/shower room addressed, new pot, drain pump, extra hatch, painted. Entire barge repainted and woodwork in new varnish. New electrics total! Everywhere Led lighting (partly 2 neat), reinforcement cables and switch panel, Batteries eg electric winches etc. Stairs adapted to access batteries and electrical installation. Steering replaced, new discs, cables and steering position. Engine overhauled.
(The latter proved unnecessary) engine painted and newly isolated and led lighting installed. New autopilot installed. Deck stripped bare and painted AwlGrip "Of white". Hull sanded and new AwlGrip ( Empress Blue). Deck teak replaced ( Rob Fritz). New winches Holmatro 14x where of 2x electric. New aluminum mast(John Mast - Denmark), boom . spibomen jockepool, standing (rod) and running rigging (all new). Original deck fittings replaced oa pulpit for , Genoa rails , landing , babystay guide , deck disks etc. Re-equipping navigation corner; new radio / radio / computer / screens inside and outside / navigation software. Galley; new oven, gas installation and cooling installation. All cushions on couches and mattresses renewed. Total project completed in spring 2013 and back in the water. Unfortunately due to private move (2014) in computer crash (2016) no longer a record of hours/labor and material costs etc. But the whole thing cost just under 90,000. But then again, this Baltic 39 was like new at the time! This is an extremely short version of all the work. After 2013 Spi renewed and Gennaker (2016) incl. boom for Gennaker and mainsail, HA and Genoa 2 new in 2019."

New electrics and new engine control panel(2023). Engine service every year.

Gas Inspection and Adjustments(2020).
