ZF Marine 80A (jet ski) - Satış

ZF MARINE 80A now in the online auction. everyone can bid until 14 December 2026.
ZF Marine 80A marine gearboxWhat exactly is being offered? This lot offers a ZF Marine 80A marine gearbox, also referred to as an HSW 800 A2. It is designed for use between a marine engine and the propeller shaft and therefore forms an important part of the drivetrain. This is not a complete boat, but a separate marine transmission.
It is important to bear this distinction in mind if you are looking for a boat part, a replacement gearbox or a drivetrain for a new-build project.
The ZF Marine 80A has a compact design with a downward angle of 8 degrees. Its housing is made of a lightweight aluminium alloy suitable for use in a marine environment. Hardened and ground gears are used internally. The gear transmission employs a space-saving beveloid design. According to the manufacturer’s description, the construction is intended to provide quiet operation, although actual performance will of course depend on the engine, propeller shaft, propeller, alignment and installation.
ZF Marine 80A now in the online auction. Everyone can place bids until 14 December 2026.
What are the main features? The ZF Marine 80A is equipped with hydraulically operated multi-plate clutches. Its so-called Supershift control enables shifting by means of hydraulic pressure. The control can be connected to a control cable that operates by pushing or pulling. This means it can be used in various engine installations, provided that the control system and other components are compatible.
The output shaft is fitted with a thrust bearing capable of absorbing the maximum propeller thrust in both forward and reverse directions. The gearbox is also suitable for installations in which the same transmission ratio and torque capacity are available in both directions of rotation. According to the stated specifications, this also makes it of interest for certain twin-engine applications. The lot information further mentions a replaceable oil filter element and integrated mounting points for an optional speed sensor at the output flange.
What technical data is available? The specified dry weight is approximately 64 kilograms. The oil capacity is approximately 5.5 litres. ATF, generally Dexron III, is specified as the lubricant. The stated operating pressure during shifting, at an engine speed of 2,000 revolutions per minute, is around 23 bar, with a specified range of 21.5 to 23.5 bar. The stated operating temperature is approximately 54 to 79 degrees Celsius.
According to the lot information, the available transmission ratios generally range from 1.200 to 2.850. Depending on the exact version, the applicable ratio may be, for example, 1.57:1 or up to 2.85:1. The exact ratio of the item offered should therefore be checked before purchase using the type plate, technical documentation or the information available during the viewing day.
Will this gearbox fit my installation? This can only be established by comparing its technical specifications with those of your engine and drivetrain. Pay attention to the maximum engine speed, engine power, direction of rotation, transmission ratio, bell housing type, output flange and the available space in the engine compartment. The dimensions of the control system and the connection to the propeller shaft also require attention.
What does this mean for someone who wants to buy a gearbox?People searching online to buy a marine gearbox often find complete vessels, while parts such as this gearbox are offered separately. This lot may be relevant to anyone who wants to modify an existing drivetrain or is looking for a spare part.
For searches related to tips on buying a marine gearbox, it is advisable to compare the technical specifications in advance. In particular, check that the ratio is suitable for the propeller and engine speed. A gearbox that fits mechanically is not automatically the right choice for the drivetrain as a whole.
What can you check during the viewing day?During the viewing day, you can inspect its appearance, connections, flanges, control points and type plate. Also check whether the stated version corresponds to the ratio and bell housing type you require.
The viewing day is intended to allow you to inspect the lot and assess the available information yourself. It is not possible to operate the gearbox on the water or take a test run. Therefore, bring the drawings and dimensions of your own installation in advance, so that you can specifically check during the inspection whether the ZF Marine 80A may be suitable. Please bear in mind that installation, alignment, oil supply and connection must be carried out by a qualified technician.... tam metin » daha az metin
