Crownline 242 CR (Motorboot) - Verkauf

Broker’s Description
A well-proportioned American express cruiser offering genuine weekender accommodation, a sociable cockpit and the performance of a 5.7-litre Volvo Penta petrol V8 in a compact, trailerable package.

The Crownline 242 CR is known for making excellent use of its 24-foot hull: a walk-through windscreen provides easy bow access, while the cockpit offers comfortable seating and direct access to the extended bathing platform. Below deck are two separate sleeping areas for up to four, a compact galley and an enclosed heads compartment—an appealing arrangement for day cruising, coastal escapes and short stays aboard.

This example was reportedly operational when lifted ashore approximately four years ago. Since then, she has remained stored on land, covered and supported on her tandem-axle trailer. She is now offered strictly in her present condition, with recommissioning, servicing and all operational checks to be undertaken by the purchaser. This honest project status, combined with the included trailer and an asking price of €22,000, presents an interesting opportunity for a hands-on buyer seeking a stylish and capable sports cruiser.

For the buyer who understands recommissioning, this Crownline offers a compelling combination: classic American sports-cruiser styling, useful four-berth accommodation, a powerful Volvo Penta V8/DuoProp package and the flexibility of an included road trailer. Her long period ashore is reflected openly in the sale basis and asking price. Once professionally inspected and returned to service, she has the potential to become an enjoyable platform for fast day trips, swimming at anchor and relaxed weekends aboard.
