Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 29.2 – well maintained and carefully renewed over the years
This Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 29.2 is an attractive and practical sailboat for those looking for a handy ship with a surprising amount of space and comfort. The 29.2 is known for its pleasant sailing characteristics, clear operation and smart layout. A nice boat for both relaxed weekend trips and longer holidays.
What makes this example extra interesting is that the current owner has paid a lot of attention to maintenance and renewal over the years. The ship has not simply been used, but demonstrably maintained and modernized on several important points.
The boat is also practically equipped in terms of sailing. The mainsail is equipped with Lazy Jacks and the ship also has a one-line reefing system, which makes reefing from the cockpit easy and comfortable. The Lazy Jacks were renewed in 2025.
Much renewed and maintained

2022: new 220 V battery charger and new Windex;
2021: antifouling removed and the underwater hull treated with epoxy;
2020: new alternator and 95A service battery;
2019: new High Aspect jib with UV protection strip;
2018: cooling water pump renewed;
2017: new mainsail and new mainsail cover.
Regular maintenance has also been neatly maintained. For example, an oil and filter change was carried out in April 2026. In 2023, the underwater hull was fitted with Seajet 023 antifouling and the hull was polished.
Ready for new adventures
This Sun Odyssey 29.2 is a good example of why this format is so popular. She is compact enough to be easy to maneuver and keep costs manageable, but at the same time offers the comfort and capabilities of a full-fledged touring yacht.
