The 2005 Grand Soleil 40 is one of the most well-rounded and highly regarded models in the cruiser-racer segment. This high-performance Italian sailboat was built by Cantiere del Pardo, with an exterior design by Matteo Polli and an interior design by Nauta Design / Patrick Roseo. Highly valued for its balance between comfortable cruising and excellent performance in racing or sporty sailing, it is a vessel renowned for its outstanding handling, structural integrity, and high-quality finishes.
This particular 12-meter unit is equipped for both cruising and sporty sailing and racing, with a complete set of sails, excellent maintenance, and a recent refit of the electronics and engine, specifically the valve system. Ready to sail, the hull has been recently cleaned and treated with silicone antifouling. Equipped with a 40 HP Yanmar engine, a Gori steerable propeller, and a two-meter rudder, it is easy to maneuver at all times.
All the sails, rigging, lines, and sheets are in perfect condition, with all lines led back to the cockpit and easily accessible. The sail set is notable for its two mainsails, one made of Dacron and the other with Kevlar membranes (both nearly new). The genoa consists of three sails made of Dacron, Aramid, and Carbon fiber. There are two spinnakers: an asymmetric spinnaker measuring 110m² and a symmetric spinnaker measuring 120m², both from North Sails.
The practical and functional interior features a classic style with excellent, robust finishes and the fine woods typical of the brand. With three double cabins and two heads, it can accommodate up to eight people, with a dinette that converts into a double bed in the saloon area.
An ideal unit for those who value performance, mechanical reliability and a top-level inventory of sails, while maintaining the comfort and build quality characteristic of the Grand Soleil brand.
You can also rent the same mooring if you don't have space on the Costa Brava.
[ES] El Grand Soleil 40 del año 2005, es una de los modelos más equilibrados y apreciados dentro del segmento crucero-regata. Es un velero italiano de alto rendimiento, construido por Cantiere del Pardo con diseño exterior de Matteo Polli y diseño interior de Nauta Design / Patrick Roseo. Muy valorado por su equilibrio entre capacidad de crucero confortable y un excelente comportamiento en regatas o navegación deportiva, es un Embarcación reconocida por su excelente comportamiento, solidez estructural y acabados de alta calidad.
Esta unidad de 12 metros de eslora en concreto, esta equipada para poder disfrutar tanto del crucero como para navegaciones deportivas y regatas, con un completo equipamiento velas, un excelente mantenimiento, y un refit reciente de electrónica y motor, la zona de válvulas en concreto. Listo para navegar, el casco se ha saneado recientemente y se le aplicado antifouling de silicona. Equipada con un motor Yanmar de 40 Hp, una hélice Gori orientable y una pala de timón de dos metros, es fácil maniobrar en todo momento.
Todo el aparejo de velas, jarcia, cabos y escotas están en perfecto estado, con todas las maniobras reenviadas a la bañera y fácilmente localizables. El conjunto de velas destaca por disponer de dos velas mayores, una de Dacron y otra con membranas de Kevlar (ambas seminuevas). Para el genova disponemos de un conjunto de 3 velas, con materiales de Dacron, Aramida y Carbono. Spis hay dos, un asimétrico de 110m2 y un simétrico de 120m2, ambos de la marca North Sails

Con tres cabinas dobles y dos cabinas de aseo, es capaz de acomodar hasta 8 personas, con dinette transformable en zona de cama doble en la zona del salón.
Una unidad ideal para quien valora prestaciones, fiabilidad mecánica y un inventario de velas de primer nivel, manteniendo el confort y la calidad constructiva propios de la marca Grand Soleil.
