CORSAIR 36 - THE TRAILERABLE TRIMARAN THAT COMBINES SPEED AND COMFORT
Built by Corsair, this 36-footer from 2003 belongs to the family of fast, versatile multihulls that made the yard's name. A trimaran designed to sail quickly, with family or friends, carrying up to 8 people and offering handling qualities no monohull of the same size can match. Offered at €69,000 VAT paid, under FRANCE flag.
Construction and seakeeping
Measuring 11.80 m in length, 7.80 m in beam and drawing 1.83 m, with a displacement of 2,500 kg, the Corsair 36 boasts an exceptionally favourable weight-to-sail-power ratio. The hull is polyester, the deck GRP - fibreglass. The rig is completed by a bowsprit, spinnaker gear, mainsail track and car, with two sets of sails: one in Dacron and one in tired composite.
Accommodation and power
Below deck are 2 cabins and 7 berths, with a convertible saloon, a cooker and an electric fridge. The cockpit features a table, cushions and a deck shower. Auxiliary propulsion comes from a HONDA 15 HP 2-cylinder petrol outboard from 2016, showing only 10 hours. Cruising speed is 7 knots.
