The "Ijzeren Hein" is truly a sight to behold.
No expense has been spared in recent years to keep her in exceptionally good condition. With the many costly renovations, this is a unique opportunity for the solid steel yacht enthusiast.
The cockpit has a deep and sheltered seating area with easy access to the sheets. The deep seating provides excellent ergonomics for comfortable sitting. The deck is coated with AWL Grip and is free of obstacles, making it easy to move around. The sails are raised at the mast, making it easy to perform as there are no bends in the lines leading to the cockpit. The stainless steel bow ladder is a convenience for boarding when moored forward.
The interior is bright with many windows/skylights, finished with a beautiful teak trim. To port is the wet room with electric toilet and access to storage/electricity corner, and an L-shaped galley with top-loading fridge, 2-burner Taylor petroleum stove, and hot/cold running water. To starboard is the navigation area with seating and access to the lockable dog kennel with wardrobe space.
The saloon is spacious thanks to the good (3.60m) width and has several storage cabinets. The table can easily transform into a generous double bed with a Flexima mattress. In the bow is a comfortable double V bed with a make-up table and various storage space.
