Descrição +
“Moombara II” is a beautifully maintained 2000 Hanse 371, expertly cared for by just two owners, including the current long‑term owners of 23 years. She features a spacious, comfortable interior with two double berths and generous storage. Meticulously looked after, she comes with a full standing‑height cockpit cover, a barely‑used Lodestar dinghy, and fresh antifoul applied in December 2025, reflecting her excellent overall condition.
Equipped with a useful cruising inventory including radar, autopilot, solar panel, and full camper enclosure, she is well suited for coastal cruising or extended stays aboard.
The interior is presented in immaculate condition, offering a bright and practical layout with accommodation for four across two double cabins.
The standing rigging and saildrive seal are now in need of replacement, and the asking price has been adjusted to a very attractive level to reflect this.
“Moombara II” represents an excellent opportunity to acquire a clean, honest, and ready-to-sail example of this capable and well-regarded cruiser.
Call Jenna Vincent on 07707 149477 or email (e-mail in contact data) for further details or to arrange to view.
BUILD
The Hanse 371 is a fractional sloop designed by the renowned Judel/Vrolijk design team and built by Hanse Yachts in Germany. She is well known for combining performance with ease of handling, making her a popular choice for both experienced sailors and those sailing short-handed.
Built in 2000 by Hanse Yachts
GRP hull, deck and superstructure
Shoal fin keel
Wheel steering
Length overall (LOA): 11.25 m (36 ft 11 in)
Beam: 3.59 m (11 ft 9 in)
Draft: ~1.67 m (shoal fin keel version)
Performance:
The Hanse 371 offers:
Stable and predictable handling
Strong upwind performance
Easy sail management, particularly with the self-tacking jib
An ideal coastal cruiser with offshore capability, balancing comfort and sailing performance.
ACCOMMODATION
Sleeps 4 in 2 cabins
Moombara has an unusual and unconventional layout for a yacht of this size and type, with the accommodation optimised towards cruising comfort for couples rather than packing in the bodies. The layout differs slightly from that shown in the diagram with the separate heads and shower as detailed in the description.
Webasto diesel cabin heating throughout
The forward cabin features a generous double berth and ample storage, and has a wash hand basin incorporated into the counter top on the port side.
The saloon has a generous u-shaped dinette to starboard, and on the port side there is a chart table with a very comfortable armchair on either side. Again storage space throughout is generous.
The aft cabin is another large double berth with plenty of storage.
There is a WC compartment to port with sea toilet and basin
Aft of the galley is a large shower compartment and wet locker, with access behind into the cockpit locker.
The galley is L-shaped with plenty of counter top, a top loading fridge, twin stainless steel sinks and a two burner gas cooker with oven
The interior is presented in exceptionally clean and well-maintained condition, with attractive green upholstery with cream piping which really sets off the wood joinery
