Motor und Getriebe generalüberholt im Oktober 2025 — Rechnung über 10.000 Euro liegt vor. Der MerCruiser Bravo III Antrieb wurde 2024 komplett erneuert. Das sind keine Wartungsmaßnahmen, das ist ein technischer Neustart: die wesentlichen Verschleißkomponenten dieses 7,4-Liter-V8 wurden in zwei Jahren vollständig ersetzt, alles belegt.
Der Mercury 7.4L MPI V8 mit 310 PS und DuoProp-Antrieb ist die stärkste Motorisierung, die für die Sea Ray 260 Overnight verfügbar war. DuoProp bedeutet zwei gegenläufige Propeller — mehr Schub beim Anfahren, weniger Drehmomentreaktion, präziseres Ansprechverhalten. Zusätzlich ist ein Edelstahl-Klappenauspuff verbaut, der den Motor vor Wassereinschluss schützt und dem Boot den unverwechselbaren V8-Sound gibt. Die Bugkabine bietet ein Doppelbett für Übernachtungen, ein WC ist an Bord.
