History: Established in 1953 as "Jachtwerf Anne Wever". (Anne is a male name in the Netherlands.)
At the begin of 60s, this yard was one of the first builders in Europe that produced GRP boats.
Anne Wever sold his shipyard to retire in the second half of the 80s. The name changed to Trintella Ship yards. In 2003 the last boat was build in Holland. The ship yard was later based in the USA. Now it doesn't exist anymore.
Anne Wever passed away on 11 January 2009 in age of 84 years.

Hans Johnson and Herman Gmack founded Palmer Johnson Yachts in 1918, in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, USA.

In 1952 E. Vennekens started to build work and fishing vessels in Willebroek.
In the 1950s, the yard started building small pleasure crafts.
Currently, the yard is building motor yachts. In the past, also sailing yachts were built.
