LUFFE 43 DS – EXCLUSIVE DANISH-BUILT DECK SALOON WITH ELEGANT LINES, EXCELLENT SAILING PERFORMANCE AND A HIGH LEVEL OF COMFORT
PLEASE NOTE: THIS LUFFE 43 DS HAS BEEN EXTENSIVELY AND CONTINUOUSLY UPGRADED IN RECENT YEARS, WITH SIGNIFICANT INVESTMENTS IN EQUIPMENT, COMFORT AND
OPERATIONAL RELIABILITY.
We are pleased to offer this exceptional Luffe 43 DS – an elegant and exclusive Danish-built sailing yacht combining Luffe’s renowned sailing performance with the comfort, natural light and excellent visibility of a modern deck saloon.
The Luffe 43 DS is designed for the quality-conscious sailor seeking a fast and rewarding cruising yacht without compromising on comfort. Its elegant hull, efficient rig and well-balanced construction make it a pleasure to sail in a wide range of wind and weather conditions.
At the same time, the yacht offers a bright and spacious interior, where the large windows provide excellent visibility and create a pleasant connection between the saloon and the surrounding scenery.
DANISH BOATBUILDING TRADITION AND PURE SAILING PLEASURE
Luffe Yachts is renowned for building handcrafted quality yachts with elegant lines, low weight and outstanding sailing characteristics. The yard’s yachts are developed for sailors who appreciate speed, balance and precise handling while also requiring a comfortable yacht for holidays and extended cruising.
The Luffe 43 DS carries these qualities forward while adding the extra comfort offered by the deck saloon concept. The result is a distinctive yacht combining sporting performance with excellent comfort for extended stays on board.
SAILS AND RIGGING
This Luffe is supplied with two complete mainsail systems: a traditional boom with its corresponding mainsail and a Furlerboom system with a separate mainsail. Both solutions are in good condition and together represent a substantial investment.
A few years ago, the current owner chose to return to the traditional configuration with a standard boom and conventional mainsail. The next owner will therefore be free to choose between the classic solution, with its emphasis on optimum sailing performance, and the Furlerboom system, which offers easy and comfortable sail handling.
The yacht’s rig and sail plan have been developed with performance, balance and practical handling in mind. The well-designed deck layout provides excellent working conditions and enables the yacht to be handled safely and efficiently, even by a small crew.
Depending on the final inventory, the sail wardrobe may include:
• New fully battened mainsail – option 1
• Mainsail with Furlerboom – option 2
• Furling genoa or furling jib
• Jib
• Storm jib
• Gennaker
• Spinnaker
• Spinnaker pole
• Lazy Jack system
The slender hull and efficient sail plan provide excellent speed potential and a well-balanced, comfortable sailing experience.
NAVIGATION AND COMMUNICATION
The navigation station and cockpit have been designed to provide excellent visibility and safe, straightforward operation while under way.
Depending on the final inventory, the navigation equipment may include:
• Compass
• Radar
• Chartplotter
• GPS
• Log
• Depth sounder
• Wind instruments
• Autopilot
• VHF radio
• AIS
• EPIRB
• Navigation lights
• Searchlight
DECK AND COCKPIT
The cockpit is spacious and practically arranged, providing ample room for both sailing and relaxing in harbour. It offers an excellent overview of the yacht, while the positioning of winches, lines and instruments supports easy and efficient handling.
Deck and cockpit equipment may include:
• Bow thruster
• Electric anchor windlass
• Anchor with chain and warp
• Spare anchor
• Sprayhood
• Cockpit enclosure
• Cockpit table
• Manual and electric winches
• Bathing ladder
• Cockpit shower
• Integrated bathing platform
The integrated bathing platform provides easy access to the water and makes boarding from a low pontoon or tender considerably easier.
COMFORT AND INTERIOR
Below deck, the yacht offers a bright, spacious and welcoming saloon. The large windows are among its defining features, providing abundant natural light and excellent views of the surroundings.
The deck saloon layout creates an exceptional sense of space and openness. The saloon forms the natural social centre of the yacht and provides generous seating around the table for family and guests.
The practical galley may include:
• Gas cooker with oven
• Compressor-driven coolbox or refrigerator
• Sink
• Pressurised hot and cold water
• Generous work surfaces
• Practical cupboards and drawers
The cabins provide comfortable berths and useful storage facilities. The heads compartment is practically arranged and may include a shower, washbasin and holding tank.
