The Joda 850 TC is a compact and agile Norwegian spitsgatter that easily misleads you regarding space and comfort. Behind its modest length hides a surprisingly spacious boat, with a well-designed open cockpit, a comfortable forward cabin, and even a separate sleeping cabin beneath the cockpit. A clever layout that makes this Joda particularly versatile.
The Joda features gangways with a safe stainless steel railing all around, providing easy access to the open cockpit. This is where the character of this boat comes beautifully to the fore: a spacious U-shaped cockpit bench, a practical galley, and the steeringposition with fixed chair combine to form a cozy and well-organized outdoor space. Additionally, an extra passenger seat has been placed on the galley, allowing for sailing together.
In the forward cabin, the available space is surprisingly well utilized. The V-berth offers a fixed sleeping place, while the spacious U-shaped seating area provides a pleasant place to sit indoors and can also be converted into an extra sleeping berth. The numerous cupboards and storage spaces ensure that there is ample room for luggage as well. The sanitary room is spacious and features a toilet, washbasin, and shower.
Beneath the open cockpit, there is another separate sleeping cabin with two single beds. This means that, for its compact size, this Joda 850 TC offers multiple sleeping options.
The Joda 850 TC combines stable and comfortable handling with the maneuverability afforded by its compact dimensions. The spitsgatter hull ensures a calm and steady position on the water, while the boat is also easy to maneuver in smaller harbors and on narrower waterways. A pleasant combination for those who enjoy a relaxed journey, but also seek out smaller waterways and cozy harbors.
In terms of equipment, this Joda can also be considered complete, featuring, among other things, a bow thruster, battery charger, heating, boiler, and sanitary facilities including a toilet and shower. Moreover, it is a well-maintained example on which engine maintenance was recently performed and the cockpit canopy has been renewed. And although this Joda has a build year of 2007, it can be proven that she was only put into use in 2010 and was delivered to her first and current owner at that time.
