Die X-95 wurde von Niels Jeppesen konstruiert und von 1982 bis 1988 gebaut. Sie war erst das dritte Modell von X-Yachts und im Prinzip eine verkleinerte X-102. Entwickelt wurde sie als IOR-Halbtonner, also als sportliche Regattayacht, die gleichzeitig noch als Fahrtenboot nutzbar war. Vom Charakter her ist sie deutlich mehr „Segelboot“ als schwimmendes Ferienhaus. Rund 3 Tonnen bei 9,25 m Länge und fast 1,45 t Ballast sind für diese Größe interessant. Das Boot ist relativ leicht, hat eine große Segelfläche und ein trimmbares 7/8-Rigg. Unter Deck ist sie natürlich ein Kind der frühen 80er: funktional und vergleichsweise schmal eingerichtet, aber durchaus für Urlaubsfahrten geeignet. Angetrieben wird das Boot von einem Yanmar 1-Zylinder Dieselmotor mit ca. 10 PS. Weitere Angaben können leider auf Grund des Todes des Eigners nicht gemacht werden! Segel und Mast sind vorhanden. Das Boot steht an Land in Neustadt in Holstein und kann nach Absprache besichtigt werden.... whole text
