De van Wijk 8.30 (bouwjaar 1999) is een stijlvolle sloep die comfort en uitstraling perfect combineert. Met de krachtige Yanmar turbodiesel van 125 PK en slechts ca. 1800 draaiuren is ze uitermate geschikt voor zowel rustige vaarten als langere tochten. Het interieur is luxe afgewerkt met massief teakhout, biedt twee slaapplaatsen, een natte cel met handbediend toilet en royale zitmogelijkheden.
De kuip is voorzien van een teakvloer, buitendouche en kuiptent en nodigt uit tot gezellig samenzijn. Dankzij de boegschroef, Victron omvormer, navigatieapparatuur en koelkast is het schip bovendien zeer praktisch in gebruik. Recent onderhoud zoals antifouling (2025) maakt haar direct vaarklaar.
