Description
This 1998 Sunseeker Predator 54 Open “FANCY IT” is lying in Valencia, Spain, and is offered at an attractive asking price of €156,000. She represents an interesting opportunity for buyers looking for a large, fast and characterful classic Sunseeker with a generous open cockpit, MAN diesel engines and a realistic market price.
The Predator 54 is one of Sunseeker’s well-known performance models, combining sporty lines, strong engine power and a spacious Mediterranean layout. “FANCY IT” offers three cabins, two bathrooms, a large open cockpit with seating area, sunpad, wet bar, hydraulic gangway, bathing platform and garage for tender or wetbike.
The yacht is registered under the British flag. The United Kingdom Certificate of Registry is available. The registered length is 15.80 m and the beam is 4.40 m. Buyers should note that a bathing platform added by a previous owner may increase the real physical overall length compared with the registered length. For any future berth or marina contract, the buyer should confirm directly with the relevant marina whether charges and berth suitability are based on registered length or maximum physical overall length including the platform.
According to the available documentation, the last documented engine and gearbox service was carried out in February 2026. Further documented works in February 2026 include seacocks, underwater fittings and related hoses. The fire protection equipment was also inspected in February 2026. According to owner information, antifouling was renewed at the end of February 2026, the anodes were replaced in 2025 and checked again in February 2026. The yacht was reportedly used during the previous season and transferred on her own bottom from Ibiza to Valencia in May 2026.
A Spanish Modelo 576 document relating to matriculation tax is available. A clear EU VAT / TVA paid status is not currently presented as conclusively verified on the basis of the available documentation and should be checked by the buyer, their tax adviser, gestoría náutica or legal representative before completion.
“FANCY IT” was previously known as “Brave Goose” and, according to owner information, was originally owned by Sir Donald Gosling. This history gives the yacht additional interest and a special background within the classic Sunseeker world.
The yacht is deliberately offered at a competitive price level. She is not presented as a new or fully refitted yacht, but as an honest Sunseeker Predator 54 Open with strong substance, visible potential and age-appropriate condition. The asking price reflects her year of build, cosmetic works, normal age-related wear and known technical points that should be considered by the buyer.
As part of a transparent broker presentation, the following points are openly disclosed. The icemaker has been removed or is not functional, the autopilot is currently not operational, the trim tabs are currently not operational, the ceramic hob is currently not operational, and a portable cooking solution is on board. Radar equipment is installed, but the cable connection and full function should be checked. The generator reportedly runs, but the starting system should be inspected, in particular the solenoid for starting when not connected to shore power. The hot water function at the deck shower should also be checked. These points are already reflected in the attractive asking price.
This yacht is particularly suitable for buyers looking for a classic Sunseeker Predator 54 with strong potential and who are prepared to inspect an older yacht professionally and, where required, optimise her technically and cosmetically. Buyers expecting a complete 25-year maintenance history, new-yacht condition or a defect-free boat are not the right target group for this offer. Buyers with a realistic view of price, age, substance and potential will find an interesting Sunseeker Predator 54 Open in Valencia.
A viewing, technical inspection, survey, possible lift-out and sea trial can be arranged for serious buyers. Costs for survey, lift-out, sea trial, engineers and external inspections are to be borne by the buyer unless otherwise agreed in writing. The sale is intended in the current condition, “as she stands / as is”, subject to the buyer’s professional inspection and the final terms of the purchase agreement.
