It is powered by two General Motors diesel engines (2 x 430 HP), enabling it to cruise efficiently at 20–22 knots with a fuel consumption of approximately 130 liters per hour. Notably, in 2017 the yacht underwent an anti-osmosis treatment. Most recently, it was returned to the water following a one-month dry dock in June 2025, during which it was allowed to fully dry and received fresh Jotun antifouling coatings.
