The Nor-Tech 3600 SuperCat is definitely an extreme boat. After all, it has a double bed in each of the pontoons, and on the starboard side, you'll find a sink with a carbon fiber countertop and a small toilet. Imagine that, book comfort at 80 knots.The Nor-Tech 36000 proves that diesel engines can be used for boats with high speed potential. 880 horsepower is a lot, but the engines are just ordinary Yanmar diesels, each with 440 horsepower. But what perhaps impressed the most was how easy the boat is to handle. You feel safe at just under eighty knots, and even longer flights are enjoyable.
