Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 349 (sailboat) for sale

Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 349 for sale (2015) – Swivel keel, bow thruster and very fully equipped!

Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 349 from 2015 for sale in Stavoren. This very neat and excellently maintained Jeanneau 349 is a beautiful sailing yacht that distinguishes itself by its extensive equipment, modern navigation equipment and the many costly innovations of recent years. A comfortable, sporty and versatile sailing yacht with electrically operated swivel keel, bow thruster, renewed sails and an impressive energy supply.

If you are looking for a Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 349 with swivel keel, you will find a particularly interesting opportunity in this example. Thanks to the variable draught of 1.26 to 2.55 meters, this sailing yacht is excellent for both the Frisian lakes and the IJsselmeer as well as the Wadden Sea, the Dutch coastal waters and longer sailing trips. With the keel up, shallower sailing areas are accessible, while the deep keel position ensures excellent sailing characteristics on open water.

What makes this Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 349 really special is the amount of attention and money the owner has invested in the ship. In recent years, numerous components have been renewed and improved, with a lot of attention paid to sailing performance, safety, comfort and independent stay on board.

For example, substantial investments have been made in the sailing wardrobe of De Vries Sails. In 2021, a new offshore self-tacking jib was purchased, followed by a new DCX mainsail and a high-aspect furling jib in 2022. These high-quality sails together represent an investment of almost €14,000. In addition, the vessel has a Code 0 for excellent performance in lighter winds. In addition, two new Harken winches were installed in 2023, further improving sailing comfort.

This Jeanneau 349 is also exceptionally complete in terms of navigation. The owner has invested in a comprehensive Raymarine navigation installation, including a Raymarine AXIOM+ 12-inch chartplotter, an additional AXIOM 7-inch chartplotter, Raymarine Quantum radar, Ray63 VHF radio with additional handset and a Raymarine AIS700 transceiver. As a result, the ship has modern navigation equipment that is particularly pleasant during longer sailing trips and crossings.

Another big plus is the extensive and modern energy supply. In 2021, a Superwind 350 wind generator was installed, together with a Victron MultiPlus Compact inverter/charger and a powerful Liontron lithium battery. In combination with the solar panels and Victron charge controller, this sailing yacht is excellently prepared for longer stays outside the port. For sailors who like to be anchored or want to make longer trips, this is a particularly valuable addition.

In 2021, no less than €24,764.20 worth of additional accessories and work was carried out. For example, a bow thruster was installed, a Batsystem bowsprit with anchor roller and ladder was mounted and Raymarine Quantum radar was installed. A new refrigerator evaporator and a wooden protective strip have also been installed. These investments provide extra comfort, safety and ease of use.

Also below deck, the Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 349 offers everything you would expect from a modern and comfortable sailing yacht. The light interior, the cozy saloon and the practical layout make the ship particularly suitable for longer holidays. Both the front cabin and the aft cabin are equipped with a CALYPSO slatted base system, which provides extra sleeping comfort. In addition, the original heater has been replaced by an Autoterm diesel heater, so that you can also stay comfortably on board during the early and late season.

In 2022, a new bimini and lazy bag were also purchased, which also further improved comfort on deck. The spacious cockpit offers a pleasant place to relax while sailing or in the harbor.

In addition to the many innovations, technical maintenance has also been seriously addressed. In January 2025, the Yanmar diesel engine underwent extensive maintenance at Jachthaven Friese Hoek. Among other things, the exhaust bend was renewed and the heat exchanger was disassembled, checked and reassembled. In addition, the gas installation was inspected in 2025 and the Plastimo Transocean life raft was serviced in August 2025.

This Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 349 from 2015 is much more than just a used Jeanneau 349. It is a particularly fully equipped sailing yacht in which considerable investments have been made in recent years. The combination of the electrically operated swivel keel, extensive Raymarine electronics, renewed De Vries sails, bow thruster, modern lithium energy supply and the well-kept interior makes this ship a very attractive offer.
