The Sun Fizz is a really well thought out boat, two aft cabins to be the envy of a current IMS, a bow cabin that we can well define owner, a nice separate bathroom and another a little more sacrificed and passing through the right stern cabin.
Drawn by the pencil of Philippe Briand in the late seventies. The Sun Fizz is a fine example of good shipbuilding, the right compromise between economy and robustness.
The Sun Fizz has no structural counter-molds, its spars and madieri are solidly layered to the hull and the sandwich deck avoids it a lot of weight at the top making it more stable and fast.
Born as a classic fast cruising boat without any aspiration to the regatta, the Sun Fizz was built in sloop and ketch versions, both with fixed drift and mobile drift.
