Built by CNB, the Bordeaux yard known for its large offshore cruising yachts, this 2013 CNB 60 is aimed at crews who want genuine passage-making ability with owner-grade comfort. Construction and sea-keeping
GRP hull, 18.38 m length, 5.18 m beam, 2.95 m draft and 27,000 kg displacement: the figures speak of a powerful, reassuring boat offshore. The rig is set up for short-handed sailing, with a fully battened in-mast mainsail, boom with lazy jacks, backstay, removable inner forestay, staysail, mainsail track and car, halyards led aft and winch handles to hand. The wardrobe includes a 2020 ONE SAILS 4T genoa, two North asymmetric spinnakers (heavy and medium) and a storm jib.
Power and life aboard
The 180 hp VOLVO D4-180, a four-cylinder seawater-cooled unit on shaft drive, shows 2,050 hours.
