Built by GRAND BANKS, a yard whose reputation in the trawler world needs no introduction, this 1991 MY 42 embodies a particular idea of life afloat: comfortable, safe and economical. Flying the FRANCE flag, she suits crews who value range and time on the water over speed.
Built for the sea
At 13.17 m long, 4.13 m wide with a 1.30 m draft and 16,000 kg displacement, the MY 42 has the reassuring proportions of a genuine seagoing boat. The hull is polyester and the decks are laid in teak, the brand's practical and aesthetic signature. The cockpit is also teak.
Power and life on board
Twin CUMMINS 6BT5 210 HP six-cylinder diesels drive through shaft lines, showing 2,085 and 2,090 hours respectively. At a 6-knot cruising speed for 18 litres, the 2,200-litre fuel capacity and 1,000 litres of fresh water open up very wide horizons.
