The Hallberg-Rassy 42F has been owned by the same family since 1996 and has always been maintained with great care and attention. Due to health problems, the boat has not been used since the beginning of the pandemic in 2020.
Since then it has remained covered under a special winter sheet, without being subjected to the usual periodic maintenance. Today it represents an interesting opportunity for a passionate owner who wants to bring one of Hallberg-Rassy's most popular models back to full efficiency and restore it to the charm and beauty that have distinguished it for so many years.
The boat needs updating work and general maintenance; The teak deck will have to be replaced in the near future, while rigging, thru-hulls and valves are still the original ones.
The Hallberg-Rassy 42F MKI (Frers Design) is one of the most popular offshore cruisers of the 90s. Produced by the Swedish shipyard Hallberg-Rassy between about 1991 and 2001, it represents the transition from traditional Rassy designs to the modern lines of Germán Frers, combining elegance, safety and excellent performance.
