This Gruno 38 E Royal is a sportily styled steel aft-cabin motor yacht with a surprisingly spacious and well-thought-out layout. The pleasant living spaces, the two full-sized sleeping cabins, and the two en-suite sanitary rooms make this a comfortable motor yacht. In addition, the double steering position and complete equipment ensure ease of use, both underway and while in the harbor.
Outside, the Gruno features wide, easily walkable gangways with a safe stainless steel railing all around. The spacious aft deck offers plenty of room to move around and is equipped with a midship steering position with a swingback bench. The heating outlet and double 230V socket at the outside steering position make this spot even more practical. There is direct access to the interior via the aft deck.
Inside, the luxuriously finished cherry wood interior stands out, creating a warm and pleasant atmosphere in combination with the fine natural light. The saloon is spaciously laid out, featuring a generous U-shaped sofa opposite a cupboard wall and the inside steering position with a bench seat. Multiple sliding and folding windows ensure good ventilation and enhance the connection with the surroundings. The galley with dinette is situated in open connection with the saloon, allowing the various living spaces to flow beautifully into one another.
Located in the bow is a separate sleeping cabin with two single beds in a bunk bed arrangement. The cabin features a en-suite sanitary room with a toilet and washbasin. The owner's cabin is situated in the aft ship, equipped with a semi-detached bed, transom hatch, and ample wardrobe space. Here, too, there is an en-suite sanitary room, this time with a toilet, washbasin, and shower. The layout thus offers not only privacy but also the comfort of sanitary facilities in both sleeping cabins.
The Gruno 38 E Royal also shows its strong side on the move. The steel hull and stable handling characteristics give the yacht a solid and confident character on the water. It is pleasant and easy to steer, offering a comfortable and stable base even on longer voyages. Furthermore, with the powerful 135 hp Perkins diesel engine and bow and stern thrusters, it boasts a fine combination of power and control, both while sailing and maneuvering.
The equipment is further complete, including a battery charger/inverter, solar panels, heating, boiler, compressor refrigerator, and Victron BMV-702 battery monitor. Also present are a stainless steel boarding ladder, a double roof hatch with mosquito screen in the forward cabin, and slatted bases under the mattresses in the aft cabin. This makes this Gruno not only spacious and comfortably laid out, but also practically equipped for use on board.
