Opis +
1997 Canados 24 with a 23.99 m overall length, 6.00 m beam and 1.70 m draft. GRP hull and 70,000 kg displacement. Powered by twin MAN D2842LE406 engines rated at 1,200 hp each, with shaft drive. Both engines were removed and fully overhauled to zero hours in 2025; they have approximately 50 hours since the overhaul. Cruising speed is 23 knots and maximum speed is 30 knots.
The yacht has four guest cabins with eight berths: an owner’s double cabin with dressing area, a VIP double cabin and two twin cabins. There is also a separate forward crew cabin with two berths and its own bathroom. The four guest cabins have en-suite bathrooms with showers.
Fuel capacity is 6,000 litres and freshwater capacity is 1,600 litres. Equipment includes two Kohler 16 kW generators, 22 batteries, charger, inverter, air conditioning, Raymarine Axiom 2 navigation system with three displays, Starlink, satellite TV, Vetus bow and stern thrusters, hydraulic gangway, teak deck, flybridge tender crane, Lomac 400 tender and Yamaha 40 hp four-stroke outboard. The installed Marinco 100 l/h watermaker requires an overhaul.
Recent work includes renewed interior upholstery, carpets, padding and bed headboards in 2025; a new galley hob and Starlink installation in 2025; Fusion audio with subwoofer in 2024; and flybridge repainting with a new bimini in 2023.
Refit and maintenance
2025: Both engines were removed and fully overhauled to zero hours; approximately 50 hours since the overhaul. Interior upholstery, carpets, padding and bed headboards renewed. New galley hob and Starlink installed.
2024: Fusion audio system with subwoofer installed, with sound distribution at the bow, flybridge and stern.
2023: Flybridge repainted and new bimini fitted, including its supporting structure.
2021: Satellite antenna upgraded.
2016: Flybridge deck, engines and heat exchangers serviced; starboard control unit and throttle replaced; aft platform overhauled; service batteries replaced; Lomac 400 tender and Yamaha 40 hp four-stroke outboard renewed.
2015: Teak deck and cap rail renewed. Windlass gypsy overhauled; date not specified.
