the controls are located outside. please note that no steering system is present. this gives you a direct view of your surroundings while sailing and allows you to easily keep track of what is happening around the boat. the terhi microfun has a johnson outboard motor. the motor is started manually and runs on petrol. the year of construction of the boat and motor is unknown.
terhi microfun now in the online auction. everyone can place bids until 14 december 2026.what condition is it in?according to the available information, the boat is in reasonable condition. this means that it may show signs of use and have points requiring attention. the exact technical and cosmetic condition can only be properly assessed during the viewing day. carefully inspect the hull, interior, controls, motor and any fittings present. as the boat was taken into storage and was not subsequently collected by its owner, its maintenance history is unknown.
no information is available about the date on which the boat was last taken out of the water for maintenance. it is also unknown when any previous work was carried out on the boat or motor. take this into account when assessing it and determine for yourself what attention it may require in the short or long term.
does the johnson outboard motor work?the operation of the johnson outboard motor is unknown. the motor is a petrol engine with manual start, but based on the available information, no statement can be made about its technical operation, starting behaviour or general condition. the year of construction of the motor is also not specified.
it is therefore important to pay attention during the viewing day to the motor housing, controls, cables, fuel system and connection to the boat. also check for any visible damage, signs of prolonged inactivity or other points requiring attention. please bear in mind that additional inspection or technical work may be required before taking it onto the water.
what is this boat suitable for?the terhi microfun has been used for pleasure boating and day trips. its size makes it suitable for recreational boating on calm inland waterways and smaller bodies of water. it may suit a buyer looking for a simple boat for relaxed use, for example in a village, at a holiday home or in the vicinity of canals, ditches and lakes.
thanks to its compact dimensions, it is relatively easy to handle from the shore. at the same time, a boat of this size offers less space than a larger model. therefore, consider in advance how many people, how much luggage and what equipment you want to take with you. its practical usability also depends on the condition of the hull, the controls and the operation of the outboard motor.
does a trailer come with it?no trailer is included with this lot. if you want to transport the boat by road, you will therefore need to arrange suitable transport or an appropriate trailer yourself. check in advance what equipment you need for this and how you intend to move the boat safely. for use at a fixed location, the absence of a trailer may be less important, but for changing locations this is something to take into consideration.
what should you pay attention to with this lot?anyone looking to buy a boat would be well advised to consider not only the model and dimensions, but also the technical uncertainties and practical possibilities. with this terhi microfun, particular attention should be paid to the unknown operation of the johnson outboard motor, the unknown maintenance history and the absence of a trailer.
if you want to buy a second-hand boat, it is advisable to take your time during the viewing day to assess whether the boat suits your plans and available budget. consider bringing someone with experience of polyester boats or outboard motors. inspect the boat for visible damage, wear and parts that may require attention.
good boat-buying tips include thinking in advance about transport, storage, motor maintenance and the sailing area in which you want to use it. the viewing day gives you the opportunity to inspect the terhi microfun up close and form your own impression of its condition. only a viewing day is available.
