ROMANO. 1995. A Najad 441 with a second wind. Sweden's Najadvarvet built her to Georg Nissen's lines to cross oceans, and cross them she did, for three decades. Then her present owner gave her a year of devoted refit: new mainsail, serviced engine, overhauled propeller, fresh electronics, solar-fed batteries, cockpit teak restored. Three cabins, seven berths, EU VAT paid. Already 4/5 when surveyed, before the refit. Now finer still. Lying Malaysia, ready for her next chapter. Where will she take you?
