DESCRIPTION
Vaitea is a 1998 Beneteau Oceanis 411, designed by Groupe Finot and built by Beneteau in France. This popular cruising yacht offers the desirable two-cabin owner's layout, combining generous accommodation, excellent storage and practical sailing equipment in a well-proven design.
The spacious interior provides a large forward owner's cabin, a separate aft double cabin, two heads compartments and a comfortable saloon with additional berths. Above deck, the cockpit offers a sociable area for relaxing and entertaining, while the in-mast furling mainsail and furling genoa make sail handling straightforward for a couple.
Her cruising inventory includes a Volvo Penta 50hp diesel engine, electric anchor windlass, solar panels, autopilot, radar and approximately 550 litres of freshwater capacity. Recent updates include a replacement mainsail and refrigerator in 2022, an electric windlass around 2021 and new sprayhood clear panels in 2025.
Vaitea has been laid up since 2022 and will require recommissioning, including replacement of all existing batteries. She offers an appealing opportunity for buyers looking for a spacious owner's version of this established Mediterranean cruising yacht.

BROKER'S REMARKS
Vaitea is an attractive choice for a couple seeking a comfortable and manageable cruising yacht with plenty of space for family and friends. The sought-after two-cabin owner's layout provides generous private accommodation, while the two separate heads compartments make extended stays aboard particularly practical.
Her spacious cockpit, straightforward furling sail arrangement and substantial freshwater capacity suit relaxed Mediterranean cruising and island hopping. Solar charging, an electric windlass and a well-equipped galley add to her appeal for longer periods aboard.
With a replacement mainsail and refrigerator in 2022, a more recent windlass and renewed sprayhood clear panels, Vaitea has several worthwhile updates. She has, however, been unused since 2022 and requires new batteries and recommissioning before returning to service.

HISTORY
Vaitea was built by Beneteau in France in 1998 to a design by Groupe Finot. The Oceanis 411 is an established cruising design, and this example benefits from the sought-after two-cabin owner's configuration with two heads compartments.
The yacht underwent rudder bearing work in 2012 and an inspection of the original standing rigging in 2018. Subsequent improvements include a replacement electric windlass around 2021, a new mainsail and refrigerator in 2022, and replacement sprayhood clear panels in 2025.
The Volvo Penta diesel engine was professionally serviced in 2022. Due to family commitments, the yacht has remained unused since that time. Although the batteries were new in 2022, all existing batteries now require replacement.
