De Laura is een prachtig klassiek schip uit 1952, gebouwd door de bekende werf Amels in Makkum. Dit ruime en robuuste schip heeft een brede gangboorden, een sfeervolle salon en veel potentie om verder naar wens af te werken.
De krachtige Deutz 545 500 PK 6-cilinder dieselmotor draait op een laag toerental van 380 RPM en is direct omkeerbaar, wat zorgt voor soepele manoeuvres. Met een stalen brandstoftank van 8000 liter is dit schip ideaal voor lange tochten.
De Laura is goed onderhouden en heeft recent nieuw verfwerk (2024) gekregen. De romp en het dek zijn in goede staat, en met de 25 PK elektrische boegschroef is het schip makkelijk te hanteren. De voorhut en achterkajuit moeten nog ingetimmerd worden, wat de mogelijkheid biedt om deze ruimtes helemaal naar eigen wens in te richten.
