Description +
Some motor yachts are primarily focused on cruising, while others offer plenty of space for extended stays on board. This Explorer 44 combines both. With a spacious layout, comfortable accommodation for four people, and complete equipment, this is a motor yacht well-suited for longer trips and stays on board.
The spacious aft deck forms a pleasant outdoor area and features a midship steering position with a double swingback bench. The aft deck is directly connected to the interior via the aft entrance. Wide gangways around the ship, fitted with stainless steel railings. A custom-made stainless steel crane is located on the foredeck, which can be used to bring a scooter on board, for example.
Inside, the practical layout is particularly striking. The saloon features a spacious U-shaped sofa with a wall of cupboards opposite, while the galley with kitchen and dinette is located in the bow. The forward cabin has a double bed and a private sanitary room with toilet and shower. The owner's cabin is located in the stern, featuring a freestanding double bed, double transom hatch, and ample closet space. This cabin also features two en-suite sanitary rooms. Throughout the yacht, the available space is efficiently utilized, with numerous practical storage options.
This Explorer 44 is also fully equipped technically. The yacht features hydraulic bow and stern thrusters, solar panel, a battery charger, and an inverter. For onboard comfort, it includes a boiler, dual hot air heating, and outflow heating at the steering position. A Candy washing machine, deck lighting on the aft deck, screens for the saloon windows, and a safe are also part of the equipment.
As the second private owners, an Australian couple has owned the Explorer 44 for ten years. After sailing through the Netherlands for many years, with Drachten as their home port, they have now decided to sell the yacht again.
