Description +
The Nor Star 950 is a rugged Norwegian built boat with a distinctive appearance and a layout suitable for both day trips and longer stays on board. This particular model is equipped with a soft top, allowing you to easily open the cockpit when the weather permits and sail in shelter when desired. Furthermore, with its 200 hp engine, the Nor Star features a powerful engine that perfectly matches the character of this vessel.
The Nor Star is also pleasantly accessible all around the ship. The easily walkable gangways are fitted with a stainless steel railing, complemented by multiple stainless steel handrails all around. At the bow, there is a step with an integrated bow ladder, allowing you to easily board and disembark. For anchoring, an electric anchor winch is present on both the fore and aft decks.
The open cockpit offers ample space for sitting outside. The spacious L-shaped settee is complemented by a matching cockpit table, while the steering position with an adjustable seat is positioned on the starboard side. A passenger seat is located on the port side. With the soft top above you, you can choose between an open cockpit or more shelter depending on the weather. It is precisely on fine days that the character of the Nor Star truly comes into its own here: the wind and the water close by, while you sit comfortably together with company.
The aft cabin, which houses a double bed and wardrobe space, is accessible from the open cockpit. The galley and a spacious U-shaped seating area are located in the bow. This can easily be converted into an extra berth, providing a total of four sleeping places on board. The sanitary room is also located in the bow and include a toilet and washbasin and shower facilities. With this, the Nor Star offers everything needed to stay on board for a longer period.
As we have come to expect from Scandinavian motor yachts, the handling characteristics of this Nor Star 950 are particularly good. With the 200 hp engine, she cruises quietly and comfortably at lower revs, while sufficient power is available when you want to pick up speed. When the throttle is opened further, the Nor Star quickly gets up to speed and continues to around 35 km/h.
Technically, too, this Nor Star has been kept up to date over the years. Attention has been paid to maintenance and upgrades, without losing sight of the boat's original character. The result is a neat example ready for new voyages on the water.
