Built in Knysna, South Africa, by a company rich in heritage in custom yacht construction, the Knysna Yacht Company, founded in 2002 by Kevin Fouché, has always prioritized quality over quantity. The Knysna 500SE — or « Special Edition » — embodies this philosophy, offering a sporty and elegant profile with exceptional finishes.

Design and Performance
It is a true evolution from its predecessors, benefiting from improved design and increased functionality for the ultimate offshore cruising experience. With its clean lines and exceptional visibility from the helm, the 500SE offers truly easy handling with a reduced crew. The design of its hull provides a smooth and pleasant motion at sea, thanks to a long waterline and generous beam for superior stability.

Equipment and Features
On deck, the halyards and reefing lines are conveniently led back to the cockpit for effortless control. The slightly inclined transom steps facilitate the boarding of the dinghy, with a custom lifting system to secure your tender. It excels in all conditions, equipped with a fully battened mainsail on a BattCar system and an electric genoa on a furler. For light or breezy sailing, a screecher on a Karver top-down furler and an asymmetric spinnaker offer impressive speed.
