Jeanneau Fantasia 27 now in the online auction. Everyone can place bids until 16 November 2026.How is the boat equipped? The steering position is located outside and operated with a steering wheel. The Fletcher GTO has a single rudder and is powered by one Evinrude Seahorse 115 outboard motor. This motor was built in 1981, has four cylinders and runs on petrol. It is an electrically started two-stroke model with an output of 115 hp.
According to the available information, the engine is operational. The stated cruising speed is approximately 45 kilometres per hour. The maximum speed is around 70 kilometres per hour. Actual performance may depend on the load, weather conditions, waterway and the engine’s current adjustment. The boat has one battery with a total capacity of 60 Ah.
The propulsion gives the Fletcher a lively character. At the same time, it is advisable to take the age of both the boat and the engine into account when assessing her. The Evinrude dates from 1981 and, as with any older outboard motor, requires attention regarding use, maintenance and further technical inspection.
What condition is she in?The boat is described as being in good condition, although according to the seller she could benefit from some extra care. This means that the Fletcher is usable, but a buyer should take into account the work and points of attention that are typical for a boat of this age. The condition is therefore best assessed personally during the viewing day.
The last time she was taken out of the water for maintenance was in 2025. The last antifouling treatment took place in 2024. The hull is made of polyester and has a V-shaped bottom. No signs of osmosis have been reported. As no documentation is available, it is advisable to carefully inspect the hull, deck, steering system, engine installation and electrical equipment yourself during the viewing day.
Which trailer is included?A single-axle road trailer is included with this Fletcher GTO. The trailer has four rollers, fourteen-inch wheels and a trailer winch. It is unbraked and cannot be tilted. The condition of the trailer is described as reasonable. During the viewing day, check the rollers, winch, wheel suspension, tyres and the boat’s attachment points.
The trailer can be practical for transport and storage, but the buyer would be well advised to carefully check all components before using it on the road. It is also important to check in advance whether the combination of boat, engine and trailer is suitable for the towing vehicle.
Who is this boat suitable for?The Fletcher GTO is suitable for someone looking for a compact motorboat for recreational use on lakes. Her limited dimensions make her manageable to use and relatively easy to store. The exterior steering position provides direct contact with the surroundings while cruising, while the interior space offers additional shelter.
Anyone searching online for tips on buying a boat should look beyond the model and speed alone. With an older boat, the condition of the hull, the operation of the engine, the electrical installation and the trailer are at least as important. This Fletcher offers a foundation that an enthusiast can build on, but she also requires a realistic assessment of the attention still needed.
What should you look out for when buying? If you want to buy a second-hand boat, it is important to inspect the boat calmly and carefully during the viewing day. Look for damage to the polyester, the engine mounting, play in the steering and the general condition of the upholstery and interior. Also check whether the battery is properly connected and whether the trailer is suitable for carrying the boat safely.
The available information states that no documentation is present. Therefore, review the known details about the Fletcher, the Evinrude engine and the trailer carefully, and compare them with what you find during the viewing day. Anyone looking to buy a boat with a clear understanding of the work required may view this Fletcher GTO as a compact foundation for further recreational cruises.... весь текст » меньше текста
