Fisher 34 “Vesta” – A charming English motorsailer with a new Yanmar engine and full equipment

The Fisher 34 “Vesta” is a beautiful, classically styled English motor sailer with a warm, inviting appearance, excellent seaworthiness, and a surprising level of comfort on board. This robustly built design by David Freeman and Gordon Wyatt is known worldwide as one of the most beloved motor sailers in its class. The Fisher 34 combines the stability and shelter of a motor yacht with the charm and tranquility of sailing. Thanks to its long keel, heavy-duty construction, and sheltered wheelhouse, the boat is equally at home on inland waterways and the open sea. The current owners have sailed the “Vesta” on the North Sea, the Baltic Sea, and to Sweden and Denmark, among other destinations.

Recently serviced and technically maintained

The “Vesta” is in neat and well-maintained condition. In 2008, a powerful and reliable 53 pk Yanmar 4JH4AE diesel engine was installed. This modern four-cylinder diesel engine has approximately 2,000 operating hours, runs smoothly and efficiently, and, together with the large 360-liter diesel tank, ensures a long cruising range. Fuel consumption is approximately 2 liters per hour.

In addition, various maintenance tasks have been carried out in recent years, including painting the hull in 2023 and upgrades to the rigging and deck equipment. The vessel is hauled out annually during the winter and has undergone preventive treatment against osmosis.

The vessel is also exceptionally well-equipped electrically for extended stays on board. Features include:
