Bavaria 42 (sejlbåd) til salg

Some sailing yachts are designed simply to make sailing enjoyable; others also make everything on board easier. This 2000 Bavaria 42 stands out for exactly that reason: a very complete cruising setup, unusually convenient handling for sailing with a small crew, and the added value of having had one owner from new.

Its electric genoa furler and electric genoa winches, furling mainsail, bow thruster, electric anchor windlass and autopilot make a 42-foot sailing yacht significantly easier to handle. It also features air conditioning in every cabin, three double cabins, two heads, Raymarine electronics, synthetic teak-effect decking renewed in 2021 and a plotter updated in 2024.

A very well maintained yacht, prepared for both family cruising and longer passages with comfort, safety and autonomy.

About this Bavaria 42
Built in 2000 and kept by one owner from new, this Bavaria 42 offers a well-balanced cruising layout with three double cabins, two heads and a spacious central saloon.

It is powered by a 55 HP Volvo Penta MD22 diesel engine and has a particularly practical handling specification: electric genoa furling, electric genoa winches, manually operated furling mainsail, bow thruster and electric anchor windlass.

Navigation electronics include autopilot, GPS, a Raymarine plotter updated in 2024, depth sounder, log, wind instruments and VHF. The synthetic teak-effect deck was renewed in 2021, while the aft area retains a wood finish.

The yacht is also authorised for 10 persons and carries a liferaft, EPIRB, black-water holding tank and equipment aimed at genuine cruising use.

Maintenance and condition
One of the most interesting aspects of this yacht is its history: it has remained with one owner from new and is presented as a very well maintained boat.

Recent updates include renewal of the synthetic teak-effect deck in 2021 and installation of an updated Raymarine plotter in 2024.

Its handling configuration, safety equipment and comfort systems show a yacht prepared to continue being used as a genuine cruising sailboat.

Why this boat stands out
This Bavaria 42 brings together several features that are not always found in combination on a sailing yacht of this generation.

It offers three double cabins and two heads, a practical layout for cruising with family or guests. At the same time, it has particularly assisted sail handling with an electric genoa furler, electric winches, furling mainsail and bow thruster, substantially reducing the physical effort required.

Air conditioning in every cabin, Raymarine electronics, the 2024 plotter update and the deck renewed in 2021 complete a specification strongly focused on practical use.

There is also something difficult to quantify but particularly valuable in a used yacht: one owner from new and continuous maintenance throughout its life.... hele teksten » mindre tekst
