The Nauticat 40 is a spacious motorsailer built by the respected Finnish yard Siltala Yachts. The model combines the versatility of a sailing yacht with the comfort of a motorboat, offering a practical layout for extended stays aboard, cruising holidays and life in harbour.
On deck, there is ample space for relaxing and handling the yacht under sail. The high, fixed guardrails and wide side decks provide reassurance when moving around aboard. Replacement of the teak deck should be budgeted for as a significant part of the refurbishment.
The large, bright wheelhouse is the yacht’s natural gathering place. It features a spacious corner sofa and large windows providing good visibility. An opening skylight offers additional ventilation. The interior helm includes a navigation table and instrument panel, allowing you to operate the yacht sheltered from wind and weather.
Below deck, the longitudinal galley to port is equipped with a three-burner gas hob, gas oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, stainless steel sink and hot and cold pressurised water. Opposite the galley, there is additional worktop space and storage.
Forward, there is a cabin with a double berth, storage and access to a toilet and shower compartment. Aft, the spacious owner’s cabin features a large double berth and an en-suite bathroom with a toilet and shower. The layout provides a good degree of privacy when cruising with family or guests.
