In 1953, "Baccarat" was built by the renowned shipyard Abeking & Rasmussen under construction number 4879. The design, numbered 1097, originated from the esteemed naval architects Sparkman & Stephens. She features oakframes, a solid teak deck, and a double-planked mahogany hull. Originally, Baccarat was used for the BermudaClassic Regatta under the flag of the New York Yacht Club. Later, she served as a family yacht in Greece and Antigua. The current owner is the owner since 1996. For the first twelve years, he sailed her primarily in the Netherlands.
