Specifications: The Scythe is a classic sailboat with a length overall (LOA) of 12.8 meters and a length at the waterline (LWL) of 9 meters. It has a beam of 3.2 meters and a draft of 2.1 meters, with a displacement of 8,400 kg.
The cockpit is positioned aft to provide an enhanced view of the surrounding marine environment. The wooden hull features a monohull design and was constructed by Cardnell Brothers in 1962 based on Laurent Giles' design. It has a fin keel and a wheel steering system.
